Have been there several times. The staff, we mostly had to do with the boss, are always courteous and in a good mood. I have always found what I am looking for there and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food and the service. Even my pretty snowy wife has found something here, the kitchen is also happy to cater to extra requests. A clear recommendation! Unfortunately, we haven't gotten around to testing the inner courtyard yet. The guest room in the house is cozy, at last we sat as a closed party in the winter garden attached to the front. Very nice! PS: The pick-up service during Corona works great - even at short notice. I can highly recommend it!

In every season, even now when the days are short and the sun is on the back burner, this restaurant always has a solid cusina, beautiful drinking wines and always tries to spoil you. In my case it was a nice serving of freshly grated black truffle over my beloved Pasta Napoli, salmon strips on lamb's lettuce. Dino Baldassare, just treat yourself to that

Do you love Italian cuisine, the sophistication of the mediterranean cucina, without procedures, fresh, al dente and seasonal, with elegant and creatively interspersed Baden specialties with ItaliaFlair? Then I like to open the doors to a nice restaurant, the realm of Dino Baldassare. Briefly to the story, Santino Baldassare, il patrono, his father, was one of the pioneers in the Markgräflerland who offered Italian accents here. Dino is a superb successor who, with new bold ideas, serves up a clear menu that is entirely to my taste, two pages maximum. three, not stuffed, I love it, always enriched with seasonal ideas. Would you like an aperitif? Who goes to an Italian restaurant without enjoying a Campari Orange in advance? These are the Swabians or Hamburgers :-) For me, si, adoro l'arancia Campari! Only minimalist criticism, you cannot order freshly squeezed orange jus, that would be my wish for full inspiration from the start. The eyes stroll from anti pasta, seasonal fresh salads to pasta specialties, note, there is spaghetti Napoli & Bolognese, which I personally have chosen to be one of the best I know, to fish, meat and game dishes, always with seasonal vegetables enriched. The gourmet receptors can confidently switch them to green, they will find what they are looking for, and in a beautiful atmosphere they can do what the savoir vivre strolls, they simply enjoy. The absolute highlight, however, with Dino Bladassare you get what most Italians miss so badly! A red wine, a cuvée rouge that gives structure to all enjoyment, stretches the bow like strings across the aisles, a really good, wonderful drinking house wine, whether 1/2 liter in a stylish carafe or, best of all, a bottle, a fare il tifo bene. His Colle Maggio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is my clear recommendation. Treat yourself, you will not regret it, for a fair price, great. Do you think you can only enjoy and be served in the restaurant or in the stylish winter garden? After all, we are far from here in the Markgräflerland, the filet corners of the Banana Republic and this is not only proverbial, but has been proven since the beginning of temperature measurements, spoiled by the sun. Already from the end of May you can take a seat, ladies and gentlemen, close your eyes briefly, South Baden flair is flooding, old sandstone walls radiate the stored warmth of the day, green planted pots are discreetly placed. Again, a little tip from me, at the back of the canal, the <canale grande>, tables with natural air condtion for total deceleration, surrounded by green, with the magic key to relax, an essential part for a nice culinary interlude. Finally, don't forget a final digestif, a dessert paradisiaco and, of course, claro, an expresso. They were satisfied, they smile after all of this, then simply press the generous operator a generous tip in the hand and everything is meraviglioso :-) 4 stars, with the Markgräfler Sun, are perfetto here, as above the eternal city.
